TCL quietly introduced two new 4G phones, the K70 and K70 Power. There also seems to be a third one, but there’s barely any info on it.
Let’s have a look at the TCL K70 Power first as that one is actually up on Lazada Thailand. The phone features a Helio G100 Turbo chipset with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage is 256GB in either case and there is a hybrid slot that offers a choice between two SIM cards or a SIM+microSD.
TCL K70 Power: Helio G100 Turbo chipset • 6,500mAh battery
The “Power” in the name refers to the 6,500mAh battery with 33W charging. According to the official numbers, the phone should last up to 3 days on a single charge. If you push it, you should get over 12 hours of gaming or up to 21 hours of watching videos on a single charge. The battery is rated for 1,000 charge cycles (retaining at least 80% of its original capacity), which should be enough for 5 years of use.
On its front is a 6.8” LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1,570px and 120Hz refresh rate. Using sunlight mode, the display can reach 750 nits of peak brightness. There’s an 8MP selfie camera living in a punch hole on the front.

Despite appearances, there is only one camera on the back – a 50MP module. The second lens is a helper. The phone is equipped with stereo speakers with DTS support and there is a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the side.
The K70 Power is rated IP64 for splash resistance. It also features Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC connectivity. But again, it only has a 4G modem. And the USB port is wired for only v2.0 speeds, but that goes without saying.
The TCL K70 Power can be pre-ordered in Nebula Blue and Space Gray. The 4/256GB model costs THB 13,090 ($415/€350/₹37,500), while the model with 8GB of RAM goes up to THB 14,090 ($445/€380/₹40,000).
Note that while you get a USB-C 2.0 cable in the box and a TPU case, you will have to supply your own 33W charger.

TCL K70 Power features
The TCL K70 uses the same Helio G100 chipset and the same 6.8” 120Hz 720p+ LCD. However, we’ve only seen one configuration so far, 4/128GB, and the battery is smaller at 5,200mAh capacity.
There’s a user manual (PDF) for the K70 over on tcl.com, but the phone itself is MIA. We couldn’t find it in any stores either.
It does show up on Infor Valencia, an IT maintenance company, strangely enough. Looking at the site, it appears to be a supplier rather than a general store, so the next bit might not be 100% correct. The TCL K70 is listed with a price of €135.50 (including VAT), while the K70 Power (4/256GB) is listed at €174.05. The specs listed by Infor Valencia match those in the manual, for what that’s worth.
There is evidence of a cheaper TCL K70 SE model with 64GB storage, but that’s about all that we know about it so far.
Thanks for the tip!
