Project Moohan – the publicly known name of Samsung’s XR headset – is being formally unveiled. You can watch the livestream below.
The headset, which will likely be sold as the “Galaxy XR,” was available for a brief encounter at CES, but today is the proper launch. The event is scheduled for 2 AM UTC (10 PM ET).
We know that it will run Google’s Android XR OS and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2. However, the full details will be revealed during the livestream.
“Android XR is designed to scale across form factors,” says Samsung, and we have been hearing rumors that the company is working on smart glasses and other form factors too. Those will not be unveiled today, but we may get more details on Samsung’s Project Haean and Project Jinju as they are known internally.
