Xiaomi has announced it will unveil the Redmi 15 5G in India on August 19. The Chinese brand hasn’t shared the complete specs sheet of the smartphone, but it did confirm key features of the Redmi 15 5G while also revealing its design and color options.
It’s the start of the Power Revolution.

For starters, the Redmi 15 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC and run HyperOS 2 out of the box. It will feature a 6.9″ 144Hz display and pack a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery, which is being advertised as one of its mAha… err, biggest features (Note: The word “maha” means large/big/great in India).
Xiaomi didn’t reveal the charging speed of the Redmi 15 5G, but said that the smartphone will support 18W reverse wired charging, allowing it to be used as a power bank. Furthermore, the brand revealed that the Redmi 15 5G’s dual camera setup on the rear will be headlined by a 50MP camera.

The Redmi 15 5G will be available in Midnight Black, Frosted White, and Sandy Purple colors; however, we are yet to receive an official confirmation regarding the number of memory configurations.
