This presentation was recorded during the 10th Annual Telehealth Summit. The Golden State for Telehealth: What’s Next for California hosted by the California Telehealth Resource Center (CTRC) was held virtually from August 9-10, 2022.
What You Need to Know to Prepare for Changes in California and Federal Policies as COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Winds Down

During COVID-19 the federal government and California elected leaders implemented a wide range of regulatory and payment flexibilities to facilitate telehealth and other digital tools to maintain access to healthcare while promoting public health practices. Both the Federal government and California are taking steps to retain some of these flexibilities while other policies will be rolled back. Join us for a discussion with experts who will identify changes that Congress and the Biden Administration may retain as well as what is happening in the California Legislature and the Newsom Administration to advance telehealth and other digital modalities. This panel will increase your knowledge of steps you can take to sustain access to telehealth and other digital services after the pandemic flexibilities end.
