We now know which Canadian cities will play host to the most-watched sporting event on the planet. FIFA announced Toronto and Vancouver will host 2026 World Cup games, alongside other 15 other cities around North America. But even though many across the continent are celebrating, one Canadian city was left out. Eric Sorensen reports.

As more Canadians look to Ottawa for help with the soaring cost of living, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is pledging action. But as Abigail Bimman reports, the federal government’s plan is $9 billion worth of measures already promised in previous budgets.
