26th California Condor Release hosted by The Peregrine Fund, Bureau of Land Management, & Traeger

Join us and celebrate the release of captive-bred California Condors to the wild! Tune in starting at 12:30 PM Mountain Daylight Time to learn about the amazing journey these rare vultures take as they transform from mere embryos at captive-breeding facilities to independent, free-flying wild birds. Meet condor biologists and conservationists from The Peregrine Fund, the Bureau of Land Management, and more, and learn more about their day-to-day efforts to safeguard this endangered species for future generations. Take part in our interactive Q&A and get your burning condor questions answered directly by our biologists in the field.

The event culminates with the opening of the release pen at 1 PM Mountain Daylight Time, which is 12 PM local time in Northern Arizona (MST). Watch as five young condors unfold their wings and take to the skies of northern Arizona for the first time in their lives!

This is the second time this event has been held virtually, and we are excited to have you join us!
