Mendocino Complex Fire Likely to Become Largest in California History

For the second time in less than a year California is facing the largest wildfire in its history. The Thomas Fire hit a new record extent of 281,000 acres during late 2017. Now, the Mendocino Complex Fire has reached 273,000 acres at only 30 percent containment. Still rapidly growing, the fire is likely to break this ominous record yet again.
